Paint Cabinets
If it was possible to give Scott a 6 out of 5, I would. Being new to Hampstead, it’s always a challenge to find good trades: professional, respectful, honest, timely, and high quality for the right price. My neighbor used Scott of R3 Painting for their home improvement project so I thought, “Why not hire him?” Couldn’t do any harm — and I was prepared for a very average experience. Instead, I could not be more pleased with not only how my kitchen cabinet/island turned out but the level of service throughout. 1. PROFESSIONAL: Scott replied to my text and provided an estimate. During the duration of actual painting (it took 4 total days of work), Scott always texted when he was going to arrive and then, shockingly, actually showed up on time. All four days. 2. QUALITY: We absolutely love the look of our kitchen island and kitchen cabinet. We went from basic white to a very dark blue. It looks perfect, no drips. 3. PRICE: I won’t reveal Scott’s pricing in case he decides to actually charge what I think he is worth (ha!), but his quote was 20-25% less than what at least seven other painters quoted me. 4. PERSONALITY: Extremely professional. Straightforward. Hardworking. HONEST.

I could not imagine completing my recent home renovation without Scott and his crew at R3 Painting. R3 took care of removing/repairing/painting the textured ceiling, painted the interior, painted the cabinets and the fireplace brick. Scott is extremely professional, accommodating, communicative, and empathetic to our moving/renovation situation. His team worked with several other trades coming and going in the house and were very agreeable when situations arose. I received several quotes for the work and I feel that the pricing was a great value, but their level of service far outweighs the price. I will definitely use them for the exterior painting and any future repairs.

Our experience with Scott Reitan and his team was great! Scott responded to our contact within 15 minutes of alerting Home Advisor and was at our home the same afternoon to quote. Four rooms had popcorn removed, then they painted 5 rooms, closets, hallways, trim and doors….all within the proposed 4 days! We would highly recommend them to others and will use them again on other projects at our home. All of them were professional, punctual, paid attention to detail, and took pride in their work. We had just had our hardwood floors refinished prior to the painting job and every one of the crew was meticulous in making sure the floors stayed in pristine condition. We are so pleased with finding them on Home Advisor. They stand behind their work. We were 100+% satisfied.

I have quite a few other jobs — besides painting — I asked Scott about doing and I will be discussing these with him further when this current job is complete. These guys are AWESOME! Hire them! I came to add to this review 3 months after the 1st job: I hired them to paint kitchen cabinets, bath vanity and front door and everything looks so good, very professional! And, they installed new ceiling lights, fans, and outside lights, too. Again, any job you need doing, check with Scott and his team first before making your contractor choice!

They also installed our new light fixtures. I'm not even sure where to begin with my review. Scott and his team were great from start to finish. Scott was very professional and did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. From follow up calls after our first meeting, to the end he was very communicative and up front. He and his team stripped popcorn ceilings, repaired drywall and painted our entire home as well as hanging a new ceiling fan and chandelier. It was not a small job, we have 18ft ceilings. We will most certainly be hiring Scott for future projects. Professional, timely, honest, reasonable pricing, friendly….this team has it all!
